About Us
Dowell Accounting + Business Services (DAABS) is a Hobart based chartered accounting firm which specialises in providing high quality management support services to a select group of clients, mainly in Tasmania but also in other parts of Australia.
DAABS does work for both private and public sector organisations. Its core business is finance and administration, but we also provide forensic accounting services such as business valuation, due diligence & merger support, and calculate insurance claims arising out of business interruption losses. On the marketing side, we write proposals and feature articles, produce presentations and deliver seminars to order.
In essence, DAABS is about helping small to medium size organisations become more effective in way they devise, develop and deliver on their mission. The way we normally do that is to establish a close working relationship with clients so that we understand the culture, the people and the systems. Being familiar yet independent we are in a good position to provide objective and constructive advice which helps management create value at reasonable cost.
